The Industrial Technologies Office (ITO) accepts proposals submitted to the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) at any time throughout the year. A letter of acknowledgment is mailed to the applicant when a proposal is received. Completed proposals are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

ITO uses this information to conduct its eligibility and assessment reviews, and to perform its due diligence examination. ITO may verify or seek further information from the applicant, as needed.
