Mandate:

The Industrial Technologies Office (ITO), a Special Operating Agency of Industry Canada, advances leading edge research and development (R&D) by Canadian industries. The agency delivers the Strategic Aerospace and Defence Initiative (SADI) and manages existing projects from the Technology Partnerships Canada (TPC) program and the Program for Strategic Industrial Projects (PSIP).

Our mission is to accelerate innovation by Canadian industries through R&D investments, producing social and economic benefits for all Canadians.

Our vision is to become a first-class organization recognized for excellence in program delivery and the administration of public R&D investments.
