TPC Portfolio Highlights
Important Information
The terms and conditions for the TPC program expired on December 31, 2006. No
new projects will be contracted, but all existing contracted projects will
continue and are monitored through the Industrial Technologies Office. The
following portfolio highlights section summarizes the investments made during
the operation of the program.
As of May 1, 2011, TPC's portfolio consists of 760 projects (including 302 from TPC and 458 from IRAP-TPC), representing a multi-year investment of $3.6 billion, of which $3.3 billion (including $3.1 billion for TPC and $0.2 billion for IRAP-TPC) had been disbursed. Of these projects, 666 or 88% target small to medium-size companies across Canada.
Investments made in the 302 TPC projects have leveraged an additional $7 billion in R&D investments from firms and their other partners from the $3.1 billion disbursed to date.
